At the heart of the sun-dipped event in the Bahamas, intense excitement took over the fans as Scottie Scheffler, whose every swing echoed with the determination to clinch something big, stood to take away the trophy. As the final putts dropped, Scheffler secured a remarkable 20-under 268. The golfer’s win not only marked his dominance on the Albany Golf Course but also stood as a return since his last win at the Players Championship. The player ended up retaining his number 1 position on the OWGR chart.

Next in line—the leaderboard tales of skill with Sepp Straka. The golfer secured a commendable second place at -17 at the end of the event. Straka’s prowess on the course was easily evident in every stroke. The golfer’s OWGR ranks saw a shift after the game. Starka earlier occupied the 24th position, but his performance on the greens in the Bahamas has changed his professional golfing world position to 20th.

Justin Thomas came out as another force to be reckoned with. The golfer claimed the third spot at -16 in the tourney with an overall score of 272 after the four rounds. JT showcased the depth of talent in the elite field and landed himself in the 26th position on the OWGR charts from the earlier 27th.

The tournament also witnessed an unexpected twist for Viktor Hovland—the two-time defending champion and the betting favorite. Irrespective of the high expectations, Hovland faced a setback and ended up concluding the event in 10th place. This, however, did not change his position on the charts. The golfer still sits at the 4th spot on the OWGR board.

The golfer earlier was at the 1328th position because of being on a hiatus, but now, with his return, Woods sits on the 898th spot—the biggest up-trend in ranks at the tourney.
