After the sudden demise of Kultida Woods, Tiger Woods‘s mother, the golf world stood up in support of the greatest golfer. Due to the unbearable loss, Sr. Woods, who earlier confirmed his participation at the Genesis Invitational, withdrew, stating, “I’m still processing her loss.” Even though the golfer was present during the fourth round of the event and has shared some great memories with her mother during his time in the broadcast booth. Like his father, Jr. Woods has also been away from the course since his last appearance in 2024.
Charlie Woods, along with his father, played last at the PNC Championship in 2024. The father-son duo finished runner-up at the event after a sudden-death playoff. The duo was on the lookout for their first win at the event, but unfortunately, 2024 wasn’t the year for their first as team Langer took the title.
Now, Jr. Woods has confirmed his comeback to the course after a tragic loss in the family. For the 2025 schedule, the junior golfer as per NBC Golf will debut at the Junior Invitational at Sage Valley. The invitational-only event will have top junior players in the world. Charlie Woods’s name was on the 37th position of the list, confirming his participation. The event will tee off from March 19-22, 2025.

Along with the 16-year-old who is ranked 713 on JGS. The event will feature many top names from the Junior Golf Scoreboard ranking and World Amateur Golf Ranking. The top six names from JGS include Luke Colton, Louis Klein, Miles Russell, Michael Riebe, Tyler Watts, and Logan Reilly. From the World Amateur, Nguyen Anh Minh (46), Lev Grinberg (105), Haoyi Wang (126), and Hugo Le Goff (142) will be featuring the event.
It will be interesting to see Charlie Woods’s performance on the course after a long break. Other than the son, fans are eager to watch the father’s comeback too. Well, the last visit of Tiger Woods at the Genesis shared some hints on his appearances.

Tiger Woods on his schedule for 2025
Tiger Woods is without any doubt the top preference of fans when he is on the course. Lately, the golfer hasn’t been seen much on the course due to an injury and recovery from surgery. His last appearance at the PNC Championship gave fans hope, but after a tough loss, he’s had to take a little more time before getting back out there.
Great news for the fans! After a surprise visit at the Genesis, the 15-time major winner has shared great hopes for his participation. He said, “My goal was to play more and I haven’t played.” Further citing his plans for the year, he pointed out, “Got to work on that. This process was unexpected. I’ll get back after it and look forward to playing some bigger events.”

Even though Woods has not clarified which event, he will be participating in, there is a huge possibility of his participation either at the Arnold Palmer Invitational or Players Championship. He has had great success at both the courses which host the respective events. While with the long break away from the course, he will aim to participate before he features at the Masters in April.
