With this week’s Mizuho Americas Open, a new event on the LPGA Tour schedule, West is all set to host the tournament in her own special way. And while announcing the same, the golf legend revealed her irreplaceable role in helping women’s golf flourish. “When I announced that I was stepping away from competitive golf earlier this season, my goal was to continue to live by the LPGA mantra to ‘Act Like a Founder’ and to leave the game in a better place than I found it,” she said.

Which top players are present at the Mizuho Americas Open?
The tournament is all set to bring in some of the best players from around the world. Competing for a purse of $2.75 million, golfers will be giving it all they have to make it to the top of the leaderboard.
