Golf Communications shared Homa’s message on its official Instagram account. In it, Homa expressed his disappointment. He makes an effort to be his best every day, but days like this are challenging for him. “I want to say how grateful I am for everyone who has sent an encouraging message. I see them and appreciate it,” said Homa. He concluded his message with a positive note that he would keep doing his best.

Homa got off to a great start this year. He won the Farmers Insurance Open in January. At the Genesis Invitational, he finished in second place. He presently has eight victories under his belt, but he has yet to win a major championship. Homa, who was ranked No. 7 in the world, was the highest-ranked player to not make the cut. Definitely, the Los Angeles Country Club isn’t fortunate for Homa. But seeing his expected game outside the US Open, we can expect the best from him in the future. In addition to Homa, additional elite players have now been eliminated from the event.
