2017 was a special year for Sergio Garcia in more ways than one. In April of that year, the golfer broke his major duck, going on to win the coveted Green Jacket at Augusta. Only a handful of months after the win, the golfer tied the knot with his beautiful partner, Angela Akins.
As the married couple complete six years together, Garcia took to Instagram on Friday to wish Angela in the most heartwarming way possible. “Through every adventure, our love remains unbreakable,” he wrote in the caption accompanying beautiful photos of the pair together. “Happy Anniversary to my partner in mischief, my Bonnie to my Clyde.”

Garcia and his wife, Angela, also share two kids together. Their daughter, Azalea, who they named after the famed flowers of Augusta National, was born in 2018. Two years later, their son, Enzo, was born.
On the golfing front, Garcia last appeared in LIV’s event in DC, where he finished at T31. The major winner has also been in the news for his ineligibility to compete at the Ryder Cup, with even World No. 2 and fellow Spaniard Jon Rahm weighing in recently!
Jon Rahm expresses his true feelings regarding Sergio Garcia not being in the Ryder Cup
2023 Masters winner Jon Rahm is of the opinion that the Ryder Cup tournament should feature the best players in the world regardless of whether they defected to LIV or not. After all, Spain’s Sergio Garcia is Europe’s all-time record points scorer. In the event’s 2021 edition, the golfer had also gone unbeaten in the three matches he played alongside Jon Rahm at Whistling Straits.
“It’s a little sad to me that politics have gotten in the way of such a beautiful event,” said Rahm ahead of the Memorial Tournament at Muirfield Village. “Who is playing LIV and who is not playing LIV to me shouldn’t matter.”
