After Rough Split With Tiger Woods, Elin Nordegren ‘Eventually Fell in Love With’ a Man Mightily Richer Than the Golf Legend

But they split, and Tiger is currently dating Erica Herman. Meanwhile, Elin Nordegren also dated a guy after her divorce who was wealthier than the golfer.

Elin Nordegren dated Chris Cline after Tiger Woods

Elin Nordegren separated from Tiger Woods in 2010 and eventually bought a house in Florida in 2011. Moreover, the billionaire coal magnate, Chris Cline, was her neighbor. A local friend introduced Nordegren to the billionaire, and they seemed to share a lot in common.

Therefore, Nordegren was impressed with him from the day she met him, and they eventually fell in love. They started traveling together to Haiti on a church mission in 2012. Additionally, Nordegren did plenty of work for the Place of Hope, a child welfare organization. Meanwhile, Cline introduced her to his organization, and their casual friendship turned into a romantic relationship.

Furthermore, they frequently traveled to Grand Cay, a private island estate in the Bahamas. However, Elin Nordegren never confirmed that they were dating. “Chris and I, since we’ve been close, have decided not to talk about it,” said Elin. Additionally, she added, “I’m happy.”

They reportedly broke up in 2017. The legitimate reason for their split is unknown, as Tiger’s ex-wife tries to avoid the media as much as possible. Nevertheless, Chris Cline sadly passed away in a helicopter crash in 2019. He was on his way to Florida from his private Island in the Bahamas.

But unfortunately, their helicopter carrying him, his daughter, and five other passengers crashed into the ocean. Chris was 60 years old when this unfortunate incident took place.

Chris was worth around $1.8 billion after he sold a $1.4 billion stake in his company, Foresight Energy, in 2015, which is way more than the legendary golfer Tiger Woods.
