Recently, there was news of Xander making a move to LIV Golf. However, the pro golfer chose to shut all the rumors and pledge his loyalty to the PGA Tour.

Apparently, Xander Schauffele was offered the opportunity to join the Saudi-backed league before the start of the 2023 inaugural season but he chose to turn it down.

Schauffele was praised in the PGA Tour circle for his loyalty. Recently, he also announced on his social media that he is conducting an event to raise money for junior golf. The event is being conducted on November 19th. He also shared the ticket information in the said post.

‘Is Phil Mickelson right or wrong?’, according to Xander

Schauffele is one of the golfers who has positively interacted with both LIV rebel Phil Mickelson and the PGA Tour. The Tour is crucial to Schauffele’s career. Mickelson, on the other hand, was instrumental in shaping his career.

Clearly, the choice Xander was presented with was not an easy one. Aside from that, given his proximity to both opposing parties, the general public widely anticipated the pro golfer’s views. This would have obviously made Xander’s job easier.

Phil Mickelson is unable to play in the new era of the PGA Tour, mentioned Xander. He continued, “I think recent articles have come out, where people were like ‘Well. Phil wasn’t too far off, he just said some unsavory things.’ It’s unfortunate that he wasn’t able to get his point across.”
