LIV Golf stars are currently living their best lives. Or at least the fans would assume so based on their Saudi offers worth millions of dollars. And among these golfers is LIV defector Patrick Reed. There is nothing new about the player being in the headlines, however, rarely for positive reasons. But this time, Reed made it to the news for something that has brought his entire breakaway league decision into a thick line of questions.

Patrick Reed reportedly embarrasses himself at the recent AFL game

Reed, 32, made a unique name for himself during his PGA Tour journey. The golfer has won 9 times in the American League, including one major victory at the 2018 Masters. The golf star has also been criticized several times during his career and has faced tons of allegations from the fans as well. However, ever since he joined LIV Golf, the player has been away from the eyes of the media.

But without ever trying, Reed has made it to the top of all his fans’ social media feeds for a special reason. And it has almost ignited a war between the PGA Tour and LIV Golf fans. The golfer, along with his LIV Golf buddies, went to attend the recent AFL match between St Kilda and Collingwood on Sunday. As the fans seemed to be excited about all the twists and turns in the game, golf enthusiasts had something else to talk about. And it had everything to do with Patrick Reed and his disappointing seat!

A Twitter user decided to share a picture of the golf pro sitting all alone in a mediocre-looking seat, watching the game. Shooting a direct arrow at a golf page that often shares LIV Golf updates, the user wrote: “Have to wonder if @useGolfFACTS didn’t attend due to the quality of the seats provided!” And as expected, it ignited a visible war between the individual and the famous golf page! On the other hand, some even believe that the golf page is a burner account owned by Patrick Reed’s wife, Justine Karain!

Sharing another picture as a reply featuring Reed accompanied by Dustin Johnson and others, the page replied“These look like nice seats to me!” Well, the other picture did have nice seats and, of course, great company too. But there are several speculations related to whether the golfer went to the game with tickets to low-priced, uncomfortable seats.

Why did Reed join LIV Golf?

Reed, a father of two kids, said his decision to join LIV was highly connected to his responsibilities toward his family. As per his claims about transitioning to the Saudi circuit after facing several struggles on the PGA Tour, Reed said, “It wears on you as an athlete, wears on you as a person, as a father, and this is for me, I feel like this is the best decision ever.”

Well, he was not the only one to leave behind his PGA Tour legacy. Several other players made the controversial choice to accept the lucrative deals from Greg Norman and associates. But notably, the decision cost him most of his remaining fans on the former tour.
