Brooke Henderson has been absent from the greens for a month now. Her last outing was at the Kroger Queen City Championship, where she tied for the 23rd spot on the leaderboard. Since then, she has missed both the Walmart NW Arkansas Championship and The Ascendants LPGA Benefitting Volunteers of America.

Fans have wondered what the 13x LPGA Tour winner has been doing on her career break. Earlier, she shared some clips of practicing her swings. It was Thanksgiving weekend in Canada recently. Although not celebrated with as much pomp as in the USA, Thanksgiving still holds a special place in Canadians’ hearts. Brooke Henderson, too, was celebrating Thanksgiving with two very special people.

The 26-year-old golfer was spending some quality time with two fellow Canadians– singer Anne Murray and her daughter Dawn Langstroth. Sharing pictures with the Murray family on Instagram, Henderson wrote, “Anne is a true legend, inspiring, strong and kind. I so enjoyed spending time with her daughter this Thanksgiving weekend.

Anne Murray is a Canadian singer. The four-time Grammy winner is perhaps best known for her songs such as “Snowbird”, “A Little Good News” and “I Just Fall in Love Again”. Her daughter is also a singer and painter.

Henderson is set to tee up with her compatriot, Correy Conners at this year’s inaugural Grant Thornton Invitational in December. This mixed-gender event will also feature Rickie Fowler & Lexi Thompson, and Nelly Korda & Tony Finau. Incidentally, Nelly Korda, took a break from golf after the Solheim Cup loss as well.

Nelly Korda’s absence after the Solheim Cup defeat had fans worried. She was not just absent on the course but off the course too, there was no sign of the 25-year-old golfer. However, putting an end to all speculation, her coach shared a clip of Korda practicing her putts.  Only a few days later, one of her athlete friends also shared a photo of the younger of the Korda sisters hanging out with her.

Later, the popular Twitter handle NellyLegion revealed the upcoming schedule of the eight-time LPGA Tour winner. According to the source, the American international will once again grace the greens on the BMW Ladies’ Championship and Maybank Championship later this month.
