The prestigious Solheim Cup is fast approaching, and the American squad is on its way to bring the Cup back to American soil and not let the European team win for the third time in a row. For this to happen, American star golfers such as Nelly Korda and Rose Zhang are giving it their all and engaging in numerous practice sessions.

The latest star to join these golfers in the practice routine is none other than struggling yet fearless Lexi Thompson. She has gotten inspired by her fellow golfers and started preparing herself for what is about to come.

With just a few days remaining for the Solheim Cup, the golfers are preparing themselves to compete under pressure and are brushing up their skills. Nelly Korda and Rose Zhang have shared quite a few glimpses on social media of them practicing for the forthcoming competition.

Lexi Thompson has now followed in the footsteps of her teammates and engaged in practice sessions herself. She recently shared a video from her training session on Instagram. The 28-year-old star was practicing her swing in an indoor arena under the American flag.

In her story, the golfer wrote, “Training feels under the flag,” with America’s flag emoji and a happy face emoji. A couple of days ago, Thompson opened up about staying positive and fearless even during her tough days.

She spoke about being able to accept that not all days are good and not letting those bad days affect your future performance. Now, it seems that she has taken her own advice and is applying it in her practice. Another thing that might have motivated and nudged the golfer was the Solheim Cup’s leadership, which exuded sheer confidence in her and her skills.

2023 was supposed to be a redeeming season for the golf star, but sadly, she could not do so in the expected fashion. Despite her struggles throughout the year, she found her spot on the team, as the team’s captain, Stacy Lewis, believes in her and thinks that she will find her game soon enough.

The US skipper praised Thompson and said that with her experience, it will be no longer until she finds her rhythm back and her old fearless form too. Talking about struggling Thompson, European vice captain Lauda Davies also shared her own nuisances and said that a determined and passionate golfer always finds their way back.
