The question is on everybody’s mind. In the post-round interview, Khang, in a discussion that segued to music, said: “I’ll put some T Swift on there for you.” The conversation then took a different turn, and the interviewer asked her how it felt to miss Drake’s concert. He also pointed out that Megan Khang is in line to win in the city, which is the title of one of his biggest hits, Portland.

She responded. “Drake was a little upsetting, but it wasn’t his fault. It was a pretty cool dinner. I went to dinner with Alison Lee that Monday, right before the concert. Even though we didn’t get to see Drake, we did see like Travis Scott and his whole posse walking back and forth.”

Megan Khang is your everyday fangirl. Even she can’t help but get star-struck and develop many scenarios in her mind. It is apparent in her thoughts when she saw Travis Scott. “We did not play it cool. I remember he walked by and Alison goes, Travis Scott, and his security just looked at us. We were like, okay, yeah we’re not getting invited to go have drinks with them.” In an Instagram reel, the Portland Classic showcased Megan’s splendid birdie shot.

Nelly Korda had earlier revealed that Megan Khang cried about missing the Drake concert. Perhaps if she wins the event, that will bring her some respite. This will be her second straight win after she scored her maiden LPGA victory last week. In the interview, Megan also credited the game in Canada for her performance in Portland.

Megan Khang reflects on her game

During the interview, she says that she feels her game is pretty solid. What seems to be helping her from last week is knowing that she can win. That instills a lot of confidence in her. Khang admits to feeling great to have achieved that feat.

When talking about her gameplay for the final round, she said since many players on the field can shoot low, it can be anyone’s game. The scale of unpredictability when it comes to putting a finger on the winner is quite high.
