Being part of a member-only country club is a goal for those who love to chase success. But living across from one of the most beautiful and greatest golf courses in America is certainly a dream for any golf enthusiast.

One particular individual scored a lucky mansion owned by the most notorious drug lord from the prohibition era, and the internet is fawning over the interiors of the house. Located just opposite Pine Valley, this luxurious mansion was grabbed from the market at a very reasonable rate. Let’s take a look at the property.

The Pine Valley Golf Club is among the top-ranked courses in the country if not the singular best even when compared with Pebble Beach or Augusta National. The exclusive beauty in Camden County features a private entrance on Old Miller Road. Opposite the entrance to the stunning course is the former American gangster Al Capone’s dreamy mansion that was just grabbed in New Jersey real estate. Compared to Mark Wahlberg’s mansion which was sold for a whopping $87.5 Million, the cost of the Al Capone’s abode was relatively cheap.

The extravagant home of the late gangster is spread across 6500 square feet featuring 4 bedrooms and 7 baths in a luxurious European setup. The baroque interiors from the prohibition era include an open plan with plenty of natural light and air circulation. The entertainment room houses a pool table, while the porch proudly accommodates a cabana bar overlooking the crystal swimming pool. Both the interior and immediate exterior of the house screams good times and happy vibes despite the history of its scandalous former resident.

The location of the house is beyond admirable and every golf enthusiast would have arguably loved a chance to make a bid.

Sadly, the Al Capone mansion is already sold. It went for a mere $1.3 million, a price that hardly does justice to the home of the notorious Italian crimelord as per Golf Digest.

Golf events held in the Pine Valley Golf Club

Apart from being one of the greatest golf clubs for members, the Pine Valley Golf Club in New Jersey is popular for hosting several prestigious events over time. Back when Al Capone was still running the streets, Pine Valley was hosting the Walker Cup event. For a century, the elite golf club has also hosted the Crump Cup during which, an exclusive 10-hole circuit is often utilized for consolation events apart from the Amateur event.

What makes the golf club so iconic is the challenge that comes with making good shots. The par-5s feature 600 yards of green with opportunities for aerial shots that are quite difficult to make. Despite its stunning valor, however, the Pine Valley golf club has also housed several controversies, one of the prominent ones being Paige Spiranac’s encounter with the age-old ways. Still, most golfers love to play the difficult course and hone their skills.
