And let’s not forget how dreamy their engagement was. Remember how Provost proposed Thompson in the middle of snow? Thompson had posted about her New Year snowy trip on Instagram, but little did we know it was about to turn into her engagement destination! On New Year’s Day, she dropped the big news with a post that said, “The best part of my trip to Whistler ….😏🙈 I said YES to my forever and always ❤️💍 1.1.25.”

Thompson cleared up some confusion about her announcement, saying, “Like I said before when I made the announcement it’s just from full-time golf.” And she’s proven it! She’s made a few special appearances here and there, showing she’s still very much connected to the game, and this time it was also for a good cause.
She participated in the Morgan & Friends golf tournament at the St. Andrews Country Club. Thompson teed it up alongside Meaghan Francella, Brittany Lincicome, Brooke Henderson, and Lydia Ko at this annual event hosted by the Morgan Pressel Foundation.
The tournament raises money for cancer research, early detection, and new treatments, and for Thompson, being part of it meant a lot. She called the day “special” and shared her gratitude on Instagram, writing “They are really making a difference in the world, and I’m just honored and happy I could be there to help out in any can, I can.” She also made an appearance at the PGA Show’s Demo Day at the Orange County National Golf Center.
