The 2023 season for LIV Golf and the PGA Tour has officially ended, and preparations for the next year have kicked in. While the Saudi league is busy in its Rooster hour, shuffling players from one team to another, the American tour is also busy creating the schedule for the next year.

Footwear plays an important role in golf on the ground. It effectively contributes to a player’s performance, which is why big names like Tiger Woods and Michelle Wie West have specially indulged in designing the perfect shoes that provide the players with stability, grip, and flexibility on the green. And recently, the LIV squad showed off their collection of the coolest shoes.
Nike, which is among the biggest names in sportswear and footwear, is hugely preferred by LIV as well. In an Instagram post from livgolf_league, names like Bubba Watson, Pat Perez, Phil Mickelson, Brooks Koepka, and Talor Gooch were seen sporting Nike shoes. The post asked fans: “The swag is unmatched. Which ones are you rocking on the course?”

And now it’s Justin Thomas’s turn to show off his sneakers. Posting a self-clicked picture of his Nike shoes, a vintage pair that Michael Jordan inspired, on his Instagram story, he wrote “oldies but goodies”. Manufactured in 1985, the pair is rare and has white laces. Written on them is “off white for Nike. Air Jordan 1. Beaver, Oregon USA.”
With his story, although not intentionally, Thomas definitely gave a fitting reply to his rival league. As they showed off their new collection, Justin replied with classic ones. One thing common among them all, however, is that they can burn a hole through one’s pocket!
What is the market value of the shoes worn by these top golfers?
While Justin Thomas’ Air Jordan sneakers sell for $190, in the above video, Mickelson is wearing a Nike Air Jordan 1 Low (Nike X Travis Scott edition), which sells for $162.
Talor Gooch is wearing the Nike Air Jordan 1 Low Purple, which retails for $156.
