Nelly Korda started her 2023 season with the right momentum. Finishing T4 for the Hilton Grand Vacations Tournament of Champions and bagged a $99,457 check. As she advanced through the season, Korda got her best performance in any non-major event this year.
At the HSBC Women’s World Championship, she stood solo second and two strokes from winning it all. However, the $169k payout was not half bad. Moving to the month of May, Korda showed a remarkable performance. Her second-best in the season and the best score for any major came at the Chevron Championship.
The 8x LPGA winner carded a 3rd finish and slipped away from the chances of winning her second major. After the major, for the next eight events, Korda had just one top-10 finish. Then came the Solheim Cup, coming back dejected from the patriotic battle. The 1-time major decided to take a break.
During the hiatus, Korda missed three events and while making her comeback at the BMW Ladies Championship, she scored 9 under 279 at T16. In the last four events Korda played, she had 2 top 10s, one at the Maybank Championship (T6) and another at the CME Group Tour Championship (T8). Although she couldn’t win any on the LPGA Tour, Korda won once on the Ladies European Tour.

Where is Korda on the Money List?
In July, Nelly Korda won her first LET title at the Aramco Team Series – London. She won the individual title by 4 strokes over Charley Hull. This win gave Korda another $75,000 and a single win in the 2023 season. In the 2023 season, Korda played 18 events.

Moreover, she had 9 top 10s and earned $1,397,796. On the 2023 LPGA Official Money List, Korda stands on the Korda 20th, nearly $2 million off of Lilia Vu, who played 19 events. Although Korda had a winless 2023 LPGA season. Hopefully, she will bounce back stronger and make the 2024 season unforgettable.
