It was a ‘Legendary’ week for Paige Spiranac. The diva had attended the 60th-anniversary celebrations for the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit magazine at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida. Yes, she had truly embraced her glamorous side for the whole week. However, one shouldn’t forget that she is also a golfer who ardently loves the sport. Enter ‘Spiranac the athlete’ once again as she shifted her focus back to golf.

The 31-year-old uploaded a post to Instagram on her personal blog, where she posts all her extra content. The golfing queen shared the video of her hitting the ball into the greens from a sand bunker while revealing “some fun golf facts about me(sic),” all the while solving her fans’ doubts about her gameplay.

The diva divulged how she “started playing at 13” and is currently “a +4 handicap” golfer. She also admitted, “Golf instruction is a passion of mine,” while recounting how she “played pro for 1 year but couldn’t handle the pressure.” The blonde beauty had turned pro in 2015 before competing in various mini-tours and qualifiers before ultimately pulling out due to issues such as cyberbullying and underperforming.

Coming to the rest of her on-course activities, Spiranac disclosed how she boasts a 63 as her “lowest score” before adding how she has “3 course records.” She surely wasn’t able to do it alone, thanks to her set of clubs including the Titleist Vokey SM9 (54 degree) sporting the Paige pink shaft and Grip Master, which the athlete dubs as her “favorite club.”

Unfortunately, not every one of her fans believed in the SI Swimsuit model. A follower came forward and asked her, “+4? You’re awesome but we’ve seen you play.” Quick in her reply, Spiranac answered, “I’m keeping my scores in GHIN and that’s what the official handicap system has me at.” Sure enough, the ravishing American shared a screenshot of the same on her Instagram story with the caption to avoid fake reports of her handicap, “Because people don’t believe my handicap lol I keep it on GHIN so it’s official. I range from a scratch to a +4 but I’ve been focusing on my game more lately and have been playing well.”

It looks like the 2022 Maxim Sexiest Woman is well set on focusing on her golfing side now that the celebrations are over. Even so, one can’t help but praise the model for balancing both her lives properly, especially if one of them calls for constant practice while the other requires her to be glamorous at all times.

A look back at Spiranac’s glamorous week

Weeks after teasing the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit photoshoot and magazine, the 31-year-old attended the 60th-anniversary celebrations of the magazine in Florida. She attended a ‘Swimsuit Island ‘-themed SI Swimsuit Issue weekend and launch party, which started at 11 A.M. on May 18 and 19. Spiranac shared a post as well of herself attending the event: “Celebrating the @si_swimsuit 60th anniversary was a success. I can’t put into words how special it is to be on the cover this year with so many inspiring women! Honored is an understatement.”

The first day of the commemoration included a full-body workout, along with swimsuit swag, belly chain beading, and a recreation of model Kate Upton’s iconic photoshoot, followed by activities for the body and mind on Sunday. Paige Spiranac sure did keep on her promise that she made back in March: “I think you should follow Sports Illustrated Swimsuit… Something legendary is about to happen.” And it sure did surprise her entire fan following!
