Anyone who just sees sports from the outside could never feel the pressure athletes have to go through. Exhaustion and mental fatigue are very much a part of any game. And playing golf is not a bed full of roses. Players need to have a calm attitude, in addition to being aware of their own gameplay, appropriate gear, bunkers to avoid, and the valleys and peaks of the golf courses.

The Open winner’s solid advice to amateurs
Brian Harman has become the center of attention. Everyone is curious about how he was able to maintain his composure in such a stressful environment after his historic $3,000,000 victory in Hoylake, and that too in the rain. And to everyone’s delight, Harman sure has a few words to say about it.
Recently, the PGA Tour posted a video of the newly crowned Open king on its Twitter account. The post was captioned, ”Perspective is everything. @HarmanBrian discusses the mental side of golf and how he works through the tough times.”

Golfers’ thoughts might occasionally get dark, but one understands how to let them go, Harman advised amateurs. Athletes should be able to deal with negative thinking because it is a normal aspect of the human brain. ”I think that just, no matter how bad it gets, I know that I have the determination to work my way through it,” said Harman.
Harman claims that golf is not a simple sport. But one should be well-versed in the valleys. ”There are times when it seems impossible, almost. But you just have to understand the peaks and valleys and know what the valleys feel like. And to be able to find a way to climb back up,” said the 36-year-old golfer.
Brian Harman on what makes golf unique and special
Harman also talked about his admiration for golf. According to him, golf is an individual sport, and for this reason, it’s up to the individual how they can change things.
Not only that, golf is also a perfect way for anyone to feel great. Golf gives everyone an equal chance to shine and solidify their legacies. ”99.9 percent of people will never know what it’s like to catch a pass in a football game or to hit a homerun or to hit a fastball. But in golf, everyone gets little bit of taste of what it feels like to be great, even if it’s just for an instant,” said Harman.
