Social media is a great way for everyone to express themselves. And this stands true for golf pros as well! This is where friendships and rivalries reach their melting point. Golf has seen many famous rivalries through the years. One of the most recent and much-talked-about feuds has to be the Brooks Koepka and Bryson DeChambeau feud, which started back in 2019.

While talking about social media and Koepka, it’s also impossible to brush aside his wife, Jena Sims. The actress is always active online and always has humor and wit to dish out, especially on her husband’s posts. And her most recent such comment was on her husband’s Instagram post, which had everything related to his feud with DeChambeau. Sims’ cheeky comment on it has in turn left the golf community puzzled about the entirety of it all!

On Wednesday, Koepka shared an image on his Instagram that was nothing less than a shocker to all his fans. To add more intrigue, there were comments from his wife on the post that only raised more questions. The photo in question is none other than that of Koepka and DeChambeau standing with wide smiles on the course, with the latter’s arm over the 5-time major winner’s shoulder.

This photo looks genuine, unlike the photo op at the 2021 Ryder Cup, where many claim the two looked like they had been forced to smile. The photo was captioned “This League” by the 5-time Majors champion as he stood happily with his LIV colleague and now perhaps ex-rival. While many were still skeptical about how much truth lay behind their smiles, Koepka’s pregnant wife, Jena Sims’ comment, made them lean more towards the authentic side.

“Boys will be boys,” she wrote on her husband’s viral post! In all of Koepka’s ventures, his wife has stood by him, be it on the greens or off them. Her comment on the post is perhaps what adds credibility to the image for many fans, who now may just believe that the 4-year-long feud between the two may be over.

While most fans cheered on the end of the feud and a new chapter for the players, others, even after Sims’ intervention, remain skeptical, claiming that it was all just PR ahead of the Open Championship. And perhaps rightly so; after all, the feud that had raged on between the two years ago had been boiling hot!

What sparked the Bryson DeChambeau and Brooks Koepka feud?

The feud between the now-two LIV stars first began with a comment by Koepka at the 2019 Saudi International. The golf pro called out DeChambeau for his slow pace at the event. The 2020 US Open winner, in turn, was quick to defend his process. However, when his slow pace came to light again at the FedEx St. Jude Championship later that year, fans and broadcasters alike began calling him out for it, agreeing with Koepka’s initial statements.

DeChambeau, frustrated with their lashes, voiced his frustration during the event and even went up to Koepka’s caddie with some harsh words. He claimed that the 5-time major winner should not have been so public about his slow play issues and should have talked to him directly. Since then, the fire between the two has only grown!

Their enmity further grew when, in January 2020, DeChambeau took a jab at Koepka’s physical appearance. “I don’t think his genetics even make him look good,” DeChambeau said. “Did you see the Body Issue? He didn’t have any abs. I have abs.” Koepka, in turn, responded with a flex of his own, calling out the one-time major winner for his lack of major trophies.

With similar minor aggression and lashes at each other, the terrible rivalry between the two kept on escalating. And even though the two joined LIV Golf in 2022, there was no indication that they had buried the hatchet. However, now this photo paints the context in a completely different light.
