Shane Lowry, the Irish golfer, attended a post-round press conference after the Horizon Irish Open at The K Club, Ryder Course. One obvious question that he was asked was how much he is looking forward to putting in some extra hours to prepare for the upcoming Ryder Cup.
The Irish golfer said he hopes to keep the current momentum going. He also hopes to put some more effort into his preparation in light of the good weather. He goes on to remark that the presence of the crowd there would really get the “juices flowing or a couple weeks’ time.”
He expressed his excitement about flying out to the Italian course on Monday and said: “It’s going to be exciting to all come together tomorrow. Every team member is there, and all the caddies and vice captains and captain there will be a few staff.”
The 2019 Open Championship winner also revealed that he’s never seen the course before and he’s really looking forward to the exciting few days ahead of him.
