It was about two months ago that the golf world got to witness Sergio Garcia flaunting his magic skills. Through a post on Instagram, Garcia shared a video that included several people, along with his wife, Angela Garcia. While performing the magic technique, the LIV golfer could be seen laughing at the stunned faces around him.
Even his wife could not seem to grasp how he had actually performed the hoodwink. The 43-year-old’s impressive switcheroo skills left all viewers intrigued. However, an interesting turn of events occurred recently, just days before the LIV Golf Bedminister event. The shot that looked unachievable at the table last time was cracked out thanks to the efforts of a fellow LIV golfer who decoded the popular Garcia trick!

As the LIV golfers prepare for their next event, Sergio Garcia seems to be invested in other tasks that involve little of his beloved game—golf. The 2017 Masters winner has taken up the alluring task of a challenger. Given his recent Instagram post, the LIV golfer was seen enjoying his time with some of the members and putting on the hat of a magician as he displayed tricks off the course.
This venture involved wits and two bottle corks, just like the last time. Per the “magic“, the wooden plugs were to be switched between the hands using the thumb and the index finger without lifting either of the fingers. Initially, just like the first time he performed this cantrip, everyone around the golfer was stunned.
However, the challenge was far from over. The twist in the events happened when Paul Casey, one of the participants present there, took the stage. After a few tries, a light bulb went off in the English golfer’s head as he switched the position of his hands to create the illusion of interlocking and not actually yoke the fingers. And just like that, the magic trick of the Spanish golfer was decoded by his teammate!

Casey’s fun accomplishment even received a hoot from the spectators. The golfer’s own experience was a little startling, but he soon adjusted his expression and gave a big smile. Unfortunately, that was not the case for the ladies present around the two golfers. They struggled to wrap their minds around how the trick could be performed.
Casey’s wife could not take apart the famous Sergio Garcia trick
Now, while this trick was made to look easy by the 43-year-old, that wasn’t the case when he passed on the two corks to his companions at the party. Apart from Crusher GC member Paul Casey, his wife Pollyanna Woodward, and American lawyer Alina Habba were also part of the intrigued group. And before handing the corks to his LIV colleague, it was the two women who had a go at the trick.

Garcia first extended the challenge to Woodward, who seemed a little hesitant to accept it. But, eventually, she tried her hand at it and realized it was harder than it looked. So, the TV host handed the corks back to Garcia, who once again slowly displayed the trick. Moments later, however, Habba insisted on trying to accomplish the feat. Alas! She too failed to achieve the desired result.
This even drew out a hilarious comment from the lawyer of the former POTUS: “I can defend a President, but I can’t do this!” Although there was some accomplishment from Casey’s side and amusing failure from the ladies in question, The golf star kept the door of challenge open to everyone with the video on his Instagram captioned, “I’ll bring to practice tomorrow; who’s up for the challenge next?”
