New gates to major championship qualification have just opened up! Since the last few days, authorities of two major tournaments have announced exemptions for top LIV Golf players. The U.S. Open and The Open have confirmed that LIV golfers like Sergio Garcia and Brooks Koepka can earn their way back to the major events through their LIV Golf performances. As announced by the X account of Flushing It, the R&A has confirmed that the highest-ranked Top 5 player in a LIV Golf season will receive an exemption into the Open Championship. They also added that The International Series Macau event will be one of the Qualifying Series for the Open Championship. Every LIV Golf player will have an exemption in the field in Macau and they will get a chance to compete for the 3 additional qualifying spots for the major tournament.
