When the LIV Defectors joined the Saudi Backed league, they did it filled with happiness But for many players, their one regret was the inability to play at the Ryder Cup. After its initial restriction, the European Tour allowed the defectors to play for the Ryder Cup, should they qualify.

But, so far no one from the LIV team has been able to qualify yet, but it looks like someone’s dream might get fulfilled in the form of the Captain’s pick. Johnson has 6 spots in his hands for which he will be individually selecting his players and he could make a selection there.

Especially given how many points are still out there.”
