The LIV Golf vs. PGA Tour fallout is taking dramatic twists and turns. After Dustin Johnson and Phil Mickelson, we saw Bryson DeChambeau, and Patrick Reed joining the rival league. Moreover, the latest prominent name to join is Brooks Koepka. However, there are still few names who will most probably join the Saudi-backed tournament.

Brooks Koepka is officially joining LIV Golf. Meanwhile, his brother, Chase Koepka, had already joined the league and competed in the inaugural event. As a result, fans have trolled Brooks for choosing money over legacy as, without a doubt, the four-time major championship winner is receiving enormous money from LIV Golf. 

Golfers who might join the rival league in the future

The PGA Tour is suffering a massive setback, as most of its top players are joining the LIV, with Brooks Koepka being the most recent example. He will join golfers like Bryson DeChambeau, Patrick Reed, Phil Mickelson, Dustin Johnson, and others.

It looks like golfers are in favor of limiting events with guaranteed payment. Furthermore, they are even receiving millions of dollars as appearance money. Hence, golfers are jumping over to join the Saudi-backed rival league.

Meanwhile, apart from Brooks, reports are suggest Collin Morikawa and Abraham Ancer are joining the rival league. Morikawa has cleared his Twitter bio of any mention of the PGA Tour. Hence, there is speculation about the two-time major championship winner joining the Saudi-backed league. 

However, there has been no official confirmation of this. Therefore, we are witnessing an upheaval in the golfing world where the PGA Tour seems to be struggling to keep up with the challenges that LIV Golf is throwing at them. 

When will Bryson DeChambeau, Patrick Reed, and Brooks Koepka join LIV Golf?

After conducting the inaugural event in London, LIV Golf will begin its second event in Portland next week. Therefore, we will see Bryson DeChambeau, Patrick Reed, Brooks Koepka, and all the other newly signed golfers competing next week.

Notably, all these golfers will now face suspension from the PGA Tour, and they won’t be competing in any of the Tour events.

Meanwhile, the PGA Tour commissioner has called for an all-players meeting today at the Travelers Championship. He will most likely discuss the challenges and strategies for overcoming the LIV Golf challenges with all of the PGA Tour’s loyal golfers.
