From being targeted by fans to being accepted, this is the story of Bryson DeChambeau! His roller-coaster journey started after parting ways with the PGA Tour for the brand new LIV, but it is now on smooth terms as he silenced his critics by winning the coveted 2024 U.S. Open title by defeating the Northern Irishman, Rory McIlroy, in a twisting turn of events with just a single stroke.
“I am incredibly grateful and honored to win my second U.S. Open Championship at such an iconic venue,” said DeChambeau. And why wouldn’t he? Pinehurst was such a difficult venue for everyone, and he shot the highest number of birdies, that is 17, at the 124th US Open. His glorious victory was followed by an after-party at Pinehurst No. 2, where the winning trophy was used as stemware to drink and celebrate. The celebration lasted until midnight when the 30-year-old finally left the golf course.
Subsequently, Bryson DeChambeau, with his trophy in his hands, moved back to the neighborhood where he was staying. The people gathered up and congratulated the main guy, and again, had a few drinks! “I’m a little wrecked; I can tell you that,” said 2x US Open winner. As he confessed the late-night secrets on the Pat McAfee Show, from “No drinking for me” on Sunday eve to “I’m actually a big wine guy“ the same night, he has had a hell of an experience.

Furthermore, on Monday, the 2024 US Open winner was seen celebrating with Donald Trump’s son, Eric, at the Westchester National Golf Club. Guess what they drank? Yes! The nine-time PGA Tour winner poured red wine into the $4.3 million trophy. He chugged the wine and received an “atta boy” from people standing there. Later on Monday night, in a post shared by NUCLR GOLF on their ‘X’ handle, the Crushers GC captain was swinging luminous range balls into the darkness alongside his hard-earned trophy, and well, was a “little drunk” doing so!

A question comes to mind with this amount of celebration and partying, which he deserved by far the most. Will he be able to make up for his next LIV Golf event in Nashville and will he be able to perform at his best?
Will Bryson DeChambeau play at LIV Golf Nashville?
The LIV golfer will be heading to Nashville on Tuesday for LIV Golf’s next event. The 54-hole event will start on June 21 and end on June 23 at The Grove. The captain of Crushers GC, with a historic win and celebration, will move forward with his head held high. Notably, DeChambeau has now become one of seven LIV golfers to win multiple major championships.
