This huge fine came as a result of the Ryder Cup pro playing at the $20 million LIV Golf event in Centurion Club, England, and several other LIV Golf Tournaments without the DP World Tour’s authorization. On the contrary, the four-event ban that Otaegui is now charged with means that the golfer won’t be able to compete in upcoming events such as this week’s European Open till the British Masters.
