Jenny Shin could be aptly called an LPGA veteran. Shin, who turned professional in 2010, has been playing on the Tour since then. But in her long career, she has only been able to score two wins. One was at the International at Concord in 2010 and the second was at the Volunteers of America Texas Shootout.

And not being able to win more titles for a long time took a toll on the South Korean golfer’s mental health. In the absence of good results, she went hard on herself. However, she is working toward improving it. Previously, Shin has admitted that she is in a better place now. And once again, she gave her fans a positive update.

On the occasion of World Mental Health Day, Shin, who is quite active on Instagram, shared a poem which she wrote herself – “Today I will be better. Today I will find the peace I couldn’t find yesterday. Today I will be kinder to myself. Today I will tell myself that things will be okay. Today I will find a way to relax.”

She continues: “It’s going to be hard but one minute, one hour one day at a time. Because tomorrow will be even better.”  In the caption, she shares a line by Nayyirah Waheed, “It is being honest about my pain that makes me invincible,” and writes, “Go be your best self because I will be.”
