So what did Woods iterate as his proudest golf record? With so many accomplishments, it was only right for the 46-year-old to state records that were close to his heart.
First up, Woods named his record spell of 36 straight victories in USGA events as one of his proudest achievements. It wasn’t the only record that Woods dug up from his earliest professional moments.
Woods made quite the splash on the scene by securing multiple victories at the U.S. Juniors and the U.S. Amateur. In total, he claimed the two highly prestigious trophies three times each in consecutive years. Woods’ dominance at the event was unmatched and sent a message to future opponents.
For Woods himself, it remained a special spell of winning trophies for fun. Thus, it wasn’t a surprise to see the record is listed as one of Woods’ proudest.

While the initial two records were set in Woods’ early stages of his vastly experienced golf career, the third one signified his consistency to the core. The 82-time PGA Tour event victor claimed his unbelievable run of 142 cuts made without fail as one of the proudest records in his career.

Woods’ choice of records could be confusing, given he has other records which spark more interest. He has 82 PGA Tour victories, which is the highest of any active golfer. Moreover, he has also won four major championships on the trot, which elevated his status further.
