Golf fans can do all kinds of crazy things at times. Be it running on the field towards a winning John Daly asking him to putt the ball in the “19th hole”! Or asking an already frustrated Phil Mickelson about his views on LIV Golf. You just can’t expect what the fans might bring along to the field. However, one of the most common practices during tournaments is fans chugging beers. And a similar recent video from the WM Phoenix Open is gathering the attention of fans across the world.
Spectator chugs American Lagers at WM Phoenix Open
The WM Phoenix Open became one of the most unforgettable tournaments for the golf world last year. And it was due to the neverending beer showers on the field near the 16th hole. Over 20,000 fans gathered to watch the tournament in 2022 while Sam Ryder did something unexpected.

The golfer apparently hit a short iron into the 124-yard, par-3 16th. And to everyone’s surprise, the ball bounced 6 feet in front of the hole, went right, and eventually rolled left, giving him a hole-in-one. Notably, it gave the fans all the more reason to celebrate, but they did it in their own manner. The spectators decided to raise their glasses in honor of the player and then tossed them toward the field. “There’s liquid coming down. There’s beer going everywhere,” a shocked Colt Knost said.

However, this year, the scene was expected to be a bit different than the last time. But as things turned out, another alcohol-related incident made it to the headlines as a fan was seen banging two American lagers and chugging them both at once. The perfect bottoms-up that all fans needed to watch.
Fans react to viral video at the tournament!
The video went viral and started receiving all kinds of reactions from fans. Here’s what some of them had to say:
Numerous fans celebrated in the comments as they watched the girl drinking from both her hands simultaneously!
To be fair to her, she’s absolutely smashed that. Two cans no issues.

On the other hand, some said it was not the best choice of drink. Fans suggested they wanted to see the girl drinking other drinks the way she chugged the lagers.
Try that with a bottle of tonic 🍷

I'd like to see her do that with 2 cans of Special Brew…..

While some said that the American lagers were not that good after all. Some even compared it to cabbage water in the comments.
American lager unfortunately isn’t great, compared to original brewed European & U.K. lager. 5yrs ago in Athens GA a bar was serving 1% beer ! WTF Being Scottish we didn’t drink that! 🇺🇸 🍺only improved within the past 10yrs. Before, it was piss 🤮

Can’t really call coors, miller lite and bud lite propers beers. Given them tennants, moretti and a few more and see what state they’d be in
