FOX Sports has announced its comprehensive 2025 LIV Golf schedule, featuring nearly 210 hours of live competition across its platforms. The schedule kicks off on February 6 from Riyadh Golf Club and includes 14 events worldwide, with over 60% of the schedule airing on FOX or FS1. The League’s first stateside event takes place on April 4 at Trump National Doral Golf Club in Miami, with coverage beginning on the FOX Sports App before shifting to the FOX broadcast network.
Throughout the season, LIV Golf will visit prestigious courses in the United States, including Robert Trent Jones Golf Club near Washington DC, Maridoe Golf Club in Texas, and The Club at Chatham Hills in Indiana. The season would culminate with the LIV Golf Team Championship at The Cardinal at St. John’s Resort in Michigan. With a star-studded lineup featuring Bryson DeChambeau, Brooks Koepka, Jon Rahm, and Phil Mickelson, the 2025 LIV Golf season promises to be exciting. But are things going as planned?
Per the latest tweet by Flushing It on X, it seems like LIV Golf’s highly-touted partnership with FOX in the US has left the rest of the world in the dark. Apparently, fans in the UK can only catch the action on the LIV Golf app, which is ironic given the hype surrounding the FOX deal. But here’s the kicker – the app isn’t even working, leaving fans frustrated and disappointed. “LIV Golf made such a big deal about signing with FOX in the US that they forgot about the rest of the world. We can only watch on the app in the UK and the app isn’t working… not a great start to the season!”, read the tweet.

Fans are pretty mad at the authorities for such a petty mistake and well, they are expressing their feelings on social media.

Fans think LIV golf’s new initiative is a “total cluster”
Starting off strong with what this fan said, “Absolute crap that. Can’t we watch on YouTube?” while the other said, “Not a good look for the self-proclaimed “world golf tour.” Well, that is partially true. When LIV Golf was only an idea in Norman’s head, he actually proposed a similar concept back in 1994 – the World Golf Tour.
It was supposed to be a global circuit with 30-player fields, big guarantees, and payouts, even securing a broadcast deal with Fox. But PGA Tour Commissioner Tim Finchem shut it down with threats of penalties and lawsuits well now, one would say that they did for a good reason.

One fan wrote, “Ya they dead to me 💀”, while the other said, “Not surprised by this one bit. LIV has repeatedly made amateurish errors the whole time.” Well, again that is true. Harsh, but true. Last year, LIV Golf was under heavy scrutiny as well. With the 2024 season opener having taken place in Mexico, all eyes were on Jon Rahm’s new team, Legion XIII, but what caught everyone’s attention was the Saudi-backed league’s embarrassing mistake – they spelled the team name wrong, writing ‘Legion XII’ instead of Legion XIII, and to make matters worse, they even got Rahm’s name wrong in the graphic release, calling him ‘John Rahm’ instead of Jon Rahm.
Many fans were so confused by the error in coverage that one of them bluntly wrote, “It’s a TOTAL cluster thus far.” While LIV Golf tries to wash these stains off their image yet again, fans will be sure to call them out on every other error they make. What do you think, can LIV Golf bounce back from this embarrassment? Let us know in the comment section below!
