“Yeah, I think anytime any athlete talks about that I reflect and those are times that I think about my mom,” Clark said, his voice tinged with emotion according to a report. “It’s been a long time since my mom passed, so I don’t think about her as much as maybe I did the first few years. But things like that, there’s little moments, little movies that come on that we used to watch or people talk about their family that kind of reminds me of her.” 

The 151st Open Championship has triggered many memories for the golfer from his formative years in the sport, including times spent with his mother.
