On her 19th birthday a few days back, Alexa Pano did something amazing. She won her first big LPGA golf title. This happened in Northern Ireland at a place called Galgorm Castle during a competition named the ISPS Handa World Invitational.

After her victory, she said: “I’ve kind of been saying that I really wanted to win this event because it’s on my birthday. My best friend can contest it’s been for like two months. It feels so surreal that it’s happened.”

This particular golf event is interesting because it isn’t just for men or just for women; both compete. Contestants competed for a separate $1.5 million prize purse. Of all the women playing, it was Alexa who won the title.
