The Happy Gilmore fans are finally excited. A few weeks ago, Adam Sandler was spotted on the sets of Happy Gilmore shooting for the sequel, and that was when Netflix confirmed the upcoming show. With a few weeks already into the shooting, it is safe to say that Happy Gilmore 2 is finally on the way. That being said, looks like Sandler is swinging in with his character, even off the screens.

A few lucky golfers were allowed to make it to the trek to one of Golf and tee off with Adam Sandler at the Cabot Cape Brenton. Well, it could be a rumor, or maybe the star did indeed appear out of the blue into the course, just like he usually does. Getting a round with him would indeed be a dream come true for his fans, and still, the legend took a step ahead and covered the entire tabs

The official Instagram page of Zire Golf took to their wall and shared an old picture of Adam Sandler on the golf course. They shared one of the Reddit posts of a fan, that said, “One of my friend’s buddies went to Cabot Cape Breton for a weekend trip and was paired with a single golfer. At the tee, they found Adam Sandler waiting for them! They said he was super cool, and at checkout at the end of the trip, they learned that he had covered their entire weekend tab.”

However, with the news going viral on the Internet, looks like golf fans did not believe him being spotted at the course.

The golf community mocks fans for spreading rumors

Having seen Adam Sandler needs proof for his fans to believe that he was there at some golf course swinging his clubs. And well, the picture that was posted for the incident, was only of the superstar alone, which could have been an old one, or from somewhere else. Fake stories can easily be surfaced all over the Internet.

Taking to this, people left comments like, “I’ll take fake Reddit stories that didn’t happen for $2000, Alex”. One of them even questioned, “People making up these types of stories for what😂😭”.

Well, it could be to promote his movie all then more, or could be just fun and games. But who knows, maybe Adam Sandler truly was spotted at the Cabot Cape Brenton. One of them commented, “True story. Was there last week”. Now whether this is mockery wrapped in sarcasm, or was it real, that is unsure.

One of them made up a similar incident and wrote, “🤦‍♂️ and I got randomly invited to Grove XXIII for a round with Michael Jordan today.” However, it looks like one of his fans was more concerned about something else. If the picture was one of Adam Sandler’s old ones, that would be fine, but if it was from recent times, he has been spotted wearing the same white pair of sneakers a lot of times. Taking to this, one of them, going out of context, commented,
“Someone get Adam some new golf shoes”.
