Paige Spiranac was propelled to fame as she started giving tips on the game of golf through her social media accounts. Now, she also hosts a podcast of her own named “Playing a Round with Paige,” where she shares information on the sport and its players. And in the recent episode of the same, she had a lot to say about one specific PGA Tour Pro.
The golfing queen took to her session to recount the dark past the golfer had in his relationship with his wife and highlight the seriousness of the issue. However, contrary to most cases, the victim in this case was the man, a.k.a., the golf pro. And her revelation of him being a regular witness to “physical violence” was a harsh reality check for the entire golf world!

Lucas Glover has been on high ground as he won the Wyndham Championship that ended last week at the Sedgefield Country Club. While the golfer is enjoying his merry victory, Spiranac opened up about the black clouds that loom over the past of the champ and his relationship with his wife during the 2018 Players Championship at Ponte Vedra Beach in Florida.
Recounting the incident, Samantha Marks, who co-hosts the podcast with Paige, shared her memory of the incident that the pro golfer experienced after a rough third round at the championship, where he scored a 78. His wife, Krista Glover, was arrested after she became upset about the performance and physically assaulted Lucas and his mother.
“She showered Lucas with insults, called him a p***y and a loser, then resorted to physical violence,” stated the journalist as she explained the case in detail. Mrs. Glover threatened to leave him with the kids if he didn’t win and resorted to hitting him and his 63-year-old mother. The golf pro’s wife then called the cops on both of them and went ahead to lie to them, accusing Glover and his mother of abuse. However, when the authorities came, they arrested Krista, considering there were visible injuries on both the pro and his mother.
She then mentioned how the situation would have been different if the roles were reversed. “Domestic violence is no joke on either side,” continued the diva as she mentioned how people don’t talk about the abuse that most men face in relationships. Although the family sorted everything out as they got back together, Spiranac made sure to express the seriousness of the issue.
Despite everything that has transpired, the golfer has come a long way since he registered his win at Sedgefield. One can’t help but admire Glover, as he went through a lot to succeed at his game and in life.
