Augusta, Georgia is a hallowed ground for golf enthusiasts, and for good reason. Golf players visit Augusta in advance to prepare for the most prestigious tournament in the world of golf – the Masters. Moreover, last year’s champion Scottie Scheffler has plans to do the same.
The Augusta National Golf Club is known for its stunningly beautiful, yet challenging, course that demands precision and skill from players. To get a feel for the course and its unique features, players arrive well in advance to practice their swings, learn the nuances of the greens, and study the layout of the course. Scottie Scheffler wants to enjoy the little things
The former world no.1 plans to enjoy a stay at Augusta, and to enjoy the small stuff, having dinner there, before he gets into the game mode. “I’m kind of looking forward to staying on property, having dinner, just the little stuff that goes with being there.’’
Moreover, he wants to relish all the memories before he the tournament. Because once the tournament is in session, his only focus would be golf. “When you show up for tournament week you don’t want to be thinking too much about last year. You want to be getting ready for this year.”
