Scottie Scheffler, the 2X Major winner and this year’s Olympics gold medalist, has registered one more mega victory. The 28-year-old champion won the Hero World Challenge, beating the world’s finest golfers by scoring a 9 under par in his final round. This not only made his fans admire him more but also the legend of the game. Tiger Woods went on to say, “I am glad I didn’t play, I think I made the right decision,” admiring Scheffler’s dominating skills and golf charm.

Talking about charm, it isn’t just the shots and scoreboard numbers that are making fans go gaga about him, but the golfer’s body language and footwork too, but in a funny way! Scottie Scheffler’s footwork indicates that swing and balance are inconsistent when he plays. Yet the player has had 18 wins in his career. And now, he is a back-to-back-champion of the Hero World Challenge.

In March, while the player was on his way to becoming the first person to win back-to-back PLAYERS Championships, a commenter on the PGA Tour’s social media page suggested that his body at impact would make an excellent logo. This suggestion did not go unnoticed and was picked up by the PGA Tour’s Social Content Creator, Taylor Ryan, who went ahead to create the Scheffler Shuffle logo from a screenshot, and it was released on PGA TOUR socials to celebrate Scottie’s win. Just like the star, his logo too made a buzz on social media.

But do you know what happens after a logo starts getting viral? It is on everything, from t-shirts to authorized social media handles and what not. If you have not guessed it yet, that’s exactly what happened next with the golfing pro’s logo. A fan on social media suggested that, “This should be the new logo of the players if Scottie goes back to back.”

A few months later, the limited edition Scheffler Shuffle t-shirt was debuted at a FedEx charity event in a PGA TOUR Superstore close to Scottie’s Dallas home. The earnings went to Behind Every Door, a non-profit that is personal to Scottie.

Have an interesting take?

Scottie Scheffler is known for being a caring husband and philanthropist, in addition to being a golf sensation. His wife, Meredith, worked tirelessly for Behind Every Door (BED), an organization started in 2009, that provides opportunities to Dallas’ unprivileged communities.

Meredith Scheffler says, “It’s seeing potential in kids that they may never see themselves, and, in turn, helping those kids see it in themselves.” BED’s mission is to “walk with people into the fullness of who they were created to be,” and the Schefflers are dedicated to making this vision a reality.

They organize events, enlisted volunteers, and have even established a young professional board to support BED’s efforts. Talk about a dynamic duo! What impresses even more is Scheffler and Meredith’s dedication to assisting others, even when they are occupied with their own work. As the non profitable organisation grows, the duo has decided to contribute all the profit of Scottie Scheffler’s logo tee to BED.
