Bryson DeChambeau is an American Professional golfer who is now a part of the LIV Tour. The 28-year-old is widely known for his “hulk-like physique” all over the golf world. DeChambeau doesn’t have many friends in the golf community. Fellow golfers distanced themselves from the player after his beef with Brooks Koepka went public.

Recently, his feud with Koepka led to an awkward moment with a fan on the course. A random spectator heckled the man while walking towards a cave near the 18th hole. Not many details were available about the incident until DeChambeau’s BMW Championship partner opened up about the incident.

Cantlay was in an interview with Golf Digest and talked about the taunting that occurred that day with DeChambeau. He made a few emotional comments that brought everyone to know about what DeChambeau went through. He said“I think it’s a tough situation. I think, naturally, of course, there is some sympathy because you don’t want to see anybody have a bunch of people be against you or even be heckled.”

Cantlay mentioned that this could be a result of letting the players receive too much attention from fans and letting the people in the audience have access to say anything to the players. He said that the same attention also turns out well for the player when he succeeds. He further called it a “live-by-the-sword, die-by-the-sword type of deal.”

Another incident took place with Bryson DeChambeau the next weekend

Right after the heckling incident, Bryson DeChambeau had to face another odd moment with a fan the next weekend. It happened when DeChambeau was on the verge of finishing his Tour Championship for the first place. The player accidentally hit a wild shot off the tee on the 18th hole at East Lake. No one could find the ball until the officials pointed out that a fan picked it up and walked away with it.
