A Convincing Reason Why Scottie Scheffler is a Strong Favorite to Win the 2022 PGA Championship

Scottie Scheffler is probably the PGA Tour golfer who has it all right now. Currently World No. 1, Scheffler might just be at one of his peaks with his latest Masters win. Of course, the young golfer does not have to stop where he is at.

Scheffler has won four of his last six starts, emerging as one of the best players on tour.

However, looking at his current growth, the 25-year-old seems no where near done. In fact, taking his stunning start to the year into consideration, one can easily hope for more wins throughout the season.

Why will Scottie Scheffler win the 2022 PGA Championship?

Scheffler scored his first major at Augusta National and might be on his way to securing his second major title in the same year.

Interestingly, this might also have to do with the venue for the 2022 PGA Championship. Apparently, the venue is a favorite for Scheffler. While places like Augusta National are favorites and famous for their history, other venues continue to shine with history of their own.

Scheffler seems to focus on Southern Hills in Tulsa, which he has played for some time now. “Obviously Augusta is incredible, but I have always been a huge fan of Southern Hills in Tulsa,” Scheffler added. “I haven’t had a chance to play it since the renovation yet, but I really liked it before.”

Is Scheffler a changed player?

Though not playing since the renovation can affect the game a bit, Scheffler’s dominant play over the last few tournaments can only lend positive vibes. Scheffler will be able to play on a course he likes, which might in turn relax him.

That being said, Scheffler playing at the venue will be completely different from the Scheffler he was before. The New Jersey native has grown a lot, his game growing with him. The course will certainly be lucky to have him, ready for another round of amazing golf.

The course itself is one of the best in the world and is known for its champion course. The club also accompanies the venue, making it picturesque and impressive.

Having said that once will certainly expect a perfect performance from Scheffler at the new venue.
