No one in the golf world needs an introduction to Tiger Woods. Since the very beginning of his career, the audience has been marveled at his tremendous skills in golf. Regarded as the best in the business, he received the majority of the media attention in the golf world. Back in the day, in Golf TV’s series ‘Wayward Drives with Henni,’ the golf legend revealed his favorite music genre, artist, and songs.

“I’m generally like a 90s person,” Tiger said when the interviewer asked him about his go-to music while driving. “I like hip-hop,” he added. He further explained that he likes to listen to happy music rather than the loud and energetic music that the new generation loves.

As the interview continued, the golfer talked about his all-time favorite songs. He said, “My favorite song is the ‘Return of the Mack’ by Mark Morrisson.”
The ‘Return of the Mack’ was released in 1997 and became an instant hit among the youngsters then. The song peaked at No. 2 in the U. S. chart soon after its release.

When the interviewer asked Tiger about his favorite artist, Woods was a bit confused about naming a particular one. He said, “It was either Prince or Michael Jackson.” The GOAT further added that he knew Prince personally and regarded Prince is the most talented musician he has ever met. He said, “He (Prince) was interesting to hear that… his deep voice comes out of that little body.”

Although the golf world gets to see the focused version of Woods on the course, he has been spotted a couple of times practicing while grooving to his favorite tracks. Tiger had once also revealed that his playlist contains about 300 songs that he listens to while practicing.

The golf legend explained that he used to listen to music using the Discman when he was younger and would also make cassettes with his favorite songs.
