Maintaining the level of physical fitness is challenging not only for the young professionals but also for the Veterans. Gary Player is among the legends who are fit even during the latter part of their life. Moreover, the 86-year-old proved that he is fit by winning a physical challenge against a youngster.

The South African professional recently took the internet sensation Conor Moore in a push-up challenge. Player took on the youngster during the Pro-Am party at the Insperity Invitational and beat the social media sensation in the challenge. Not to forget, Gary is famous for his incredible fitness level and is probably one of the fittest golfers of all time.
Moore also posted a few images from his fantastic challenge with the golf legend. He uploaded the wholesome pictures about the same on his official Instagram account, and Player’s fans will love them.

Conor posted the images with a beautiful caption saying, “I can finally cross “A push up competition with @gary.player“ off my bucket list I lost What a legend!!” Moore is probably among the most famous social media stars in the world. He uploads funny videos, mimicking various famous personalities, including golfers like Ian Poulter and Tiger Woods.

However, this is not the only time Gary has shown off his excellent fitness level. He showcased the same at this year’s DGC Open. The event was held at the prestigious Delhi Golf Club and before the event started, Player gave a glimpse of his two clubs and two-finger challenge. In this challenge, he has two golf clubs in his two fingers while bending on his knee.

When did Gary Player win his last major championship?
Player won his last major championship in 1978 at the Masters. He emphatically won the event to register his ninth major championship triumph at Augusta National Golf Club. Moreover, Gary ended the event with an overall score of 11-under-par. As a result, he won with a narrow one-shot lead after the final round on Sunday.

He carded a final of eight under par, 64, to finish on the top of the leaderboard and claim another green jacket. Gary’s final round included three birdies and one bogey on the opening nine holes. As a result, he moved out in two-under-par, 34. He made six birdies and three pars on the back nine to make the turn in six-under-par, 30.
