Fans have been looking at their favorite golfers tasting success in the breakaway league. However, it only took one great shot for Schauffele to make it to the headlines during the recent American Express tournament. Finishing at T3 along with Chris Kirk, the golfer couldn’t get his hands on the title for the event. However, his unexpected performance got him more attention compared to tournament champion Jon Rahm.

The PGA Tour shared a video of Xander Schauffele jumping from T27 to T7 in a single shot. And it resulted in him earning $300,000 for his unbelievable finish at T3. All thanks to his lucky albatross. Why was it based on luck? You might want to hear what the golfer said about his shot!

The commentators were stunned after seeing the ball ending up in the hole in just one shot. “Double eagle by Xander Schauffele”, one of the commentators said. Initially, the golfer’s caddie didn’t believe that he had indeed hit such a perfect shot. According to the PGA Tour pro, his caddie “looked away” thinking that the ballad ended up in the water. However, to his surprise, the ball had ended up in a far better place than where he thought it went!
