How many surgeries has Woods gone through?

Woods has been very private about his injuries and the procedures he underwent to get himself fixed. However, there have been times when he talked about the surgeries he had undergone. Here are some of the surgeries he had to go through in his career.

Woods was just 20 years old when the doctors removed two benign tumors and scar tissue from his left knee. And later in 2002, he again faced issues with his left knee and had to undergo surgery to remove benign cysts from there. Woods again ruptured his left knee in 2007 while running during the British Open, but was able to continue playing for a few weeks.

Right after the tournament, Woods went on to get his left ACL repaired extracting a tendon from his right thigh. But little did he know that the same year would end with him injuring his right Achilles tendon while jogging. Another injury, another surgery.

A big surgery that Woods went through was in 2014 when he withdrew from the Honda Classic due to consistent back pain and spasms. The golfer had to undergo surgery on a pinched nerve. He even had to withdraw from the Arnold Palmer Invitational the same year.

Did Woods go through surgeries for his spine?

Woods withdrew from the Farmers Insurance match in 2015 due to one more back injury. He said“A bone kind of popped out, and the joint kind of went out of place, but I put it back in,”. The golf star had to go through two microdiscectomy surgeries on his back. October came with another back surgery for him to relieve him from the undying pain.
