2025 Volvo China Open prize money breakdown
The Enhance Anting Golf Club is quite a challenging course. After two days of action, all three leaders, Chacarra, Li, and Pulkkanen, have managed to score 10-under par 132 to take the first spot. However, the remaining field is 2 strokes away from them. Overall, the field was cut to 72 players, all of whom have managed at least 2-over or less after 18 holes. However, everyone who has qualified for the weekend rounds will be eligible to receive a cut from the $2.55 million event on April 20, 2025.

Top bets to win the 2025 Volvo China Open
Just out of the players tied in first place after two rounds, Haotong Li is the favorite to win the 2025 Volvo China Open. That is because he had previously won the tournament back in 2016. Interestingly, he did so by beating LIV Golf pros Tyrrell Hatton, Dean Burmester, and Peter Uihlein. Defending champion Adrián Otaegui is also a great contender. But it would be quite challenging for him to cover the 6-stroke deficit and retain the title by Sunday.
Jannik De Bruyn is also sitting just two strokes away from the first-place tie. He, too, can rise through the rankings in the back 36 to capture the title. The highest-ranked player on the OWGR, Rasmus Neergaard-Petersen, is also only a few strokes away. Having already come from a runner-up finish at the 2025 Puerto Rico Open on the PGA Tour, he will be longing to finally get his first win as a professional golfer.
