After three exciting tournaments in Africa, the DP World Tour has made its way to Asia for the 2025 Singapore Classic. Scheduled from March 20 to 23, this tournament is happening at Laguna’s Classic Course. Interestingly, it is a relatively new addition to the DP World Tour—having debuted in 2023—the Singapore Classic has already made its mark as it is a part of the first two Asian events before the highly anticipated Masters.
Fans in Southeast Asia are especially excited, as the Singapore Classic is the second major golf event in the region this month, following the LIV Golf Singapore last weekend. However, it isn’t all about just golf. You see, the first player to hit an ace on the spectacular 17th hole will be awarded a Taycan Turbo S in Oak Green Metallic. They can win the car with a shot on the over 160-metre hole (it includes a formidable water hazard). In addition to this, the sports car manufacturer will also provide more information about its whole range of products at the Laguna National venue.
But first, the spotlight is on the $2.5 million prize purse, matching last year’s prize. In 2024, Sweden’s Jesper Svensson took home just over $400,000 after winning in a thrilling playoff against Thailand’s Kiradech Aphibarnrat, who still walked away with a respectable check for more than $250,000 as the runner-up.

With six-figure payouts for the top five finishers, plus a solid 3,500 Race to Dubai points and 1,000 Ryder Cup points up for grabs, the competition is sure to be fierce. The golfers will also get a chance to put themselves in pole positioning for the PGA Championship exemption for finishing in the top three at the end of the four-event Swing.
