Bryson DeChambeau is ‘in a great frame of mind’ for his golf game just days before the Masters
The two-time U.S. Open champion has referred to Augusta National as “heaven,” and it’s clear he’s gunning for a strong performance at the 2025 Masters. “I’d say I’m in a great frame of mind,” DeChambeau said after his opening round. “I’m happy about life. Got a lot of positive things going for me, not only [with my YouTube channel] but outside of that, in business, and just the people that I have around me.” DeChambeau’s history at Augusta National has been a mixed bag, but last year’s T6 finish was a turning point, and he’s looking to build on that momentum.

DeChambeau’s game has undergone significant changes this season, with a focus on finding the right balance between talent and mental toughness. He’s been tinkering with different golf balls, searching for one that provides the perfect amount of spin for his game. “A little bit lower flighting, a little bit more control with my half shots,” DeChambeau said of his ball. “That was a big thing. Left Dash is a great golf ball in firm conditions, but when it got soft, it just super spun, and then when I tried to take half shots off of the Left Dash, it would just knuckle so that I wouldn’t get enough spin.”
With his newfound confidence and comfort in his own skin, DeChambeau is ready to take on the iconic Augusta National course, and considering his performance in the current LIV tournament, you have to admit the odds are in his favor!
