CDMX is the next destination for your favorite LIV Golf stars! After an excellent show in the Masters Tournament, the players of the Saudi league will head to Mexico City. It’s the first time LIV Golf will visit the city and the country for the third time as Mayakoba has held the tournament twice in 2023 and 2024. The locals are excited about the same. Tickets are selling fast, and everyone who is planning to watch it remotely has their schedule booked from April 25-27, 2025.

Joaquin Niemann, Sergio Garcia, and Jon Rahm have been in sublime form so far. Having said that, who has the best shot at winning LIV Golf’s first trip to Club de Golf Chapultepec? Let’s take a look at the best bets for the sixth tournament of the season.

Bryson DeChambeau

Bryson DeChambeau was outstanding for most of the four rounds at Augusta National. At the end of 54 holes, he was a favorite to take the title from Rory McIlroy. Unfortunately, he couldn’t replicate the same in the last 18 holes to win his first Green Jacket. That may be because DeChambeau might have gotten used to delivering good performances in 54-hole events. Looking for payback and a win, the mad scientist will be coming in hot in Mexico City as he aims to win the third LIV Golf title of his career. With the PGA Championship coming up next month, a win in LIV Golf Mexico City will also help Bryson DeChambeau gain some confidence and momentum before the next major.

Joaquin Niemann

Not too far away from his home, Joaquin Niemann might enjoy his time in Mexico City. Especially considering that he has been in hot form for the past few months. A win in PIF Saudi International late last year, followed by two excellent victories in Adelaide and Singapore this season, has put him in the prime position. Niemann is the man to beat in LIV Golf, and he would be eager to keep his place at the top of the leaderboard stepping onto Club de Golf Chapultepec. The Chilean is definitely the favorite to continue his great run and capture the third win of the season.

Patrick Reed

In the final round of the Masters, Patrick Reed showed everyone why he is a top-ranked golfer. While others from LIV Golf were struggling, he managed a 3-under 72 in the final round to finish third on the leaderboard above DeChambeau. Reed was only two strokes away from entering the playoffs along with McIlroy and Justin Rose. Now on his way to Mexico City, the 34-year-old will be confident to come back to LIV Golf and deliver a result. And the Club de Golf Chapultepec will be the perfect playground for him, as everyone would be unaware of the challenges they might face on the course. That makes Patrick Reed a major threat to the remaining field of LIV Golf Mexico City 2025.

Tyrrell Hatton

Tyrrell Hatton began 2025 with an outstanding win in the Hero Dubai Desert Classic. The Englishman has been thriving in competitive atmospheres. Moreover, he is also eager to win a place in the Ryder Cup Team Europe squad. While Hatton aims to qualify for it on merit, a win in Mexico City will only help his cause of impressing Luke Donald for a Captain’s Pick. Knowing how competitive he can get, the 33-year-old would definitely be a great bet to go all the way in LIV Golf’s $25 million tournament.

Jon Rahm

John Rahm may not have had a great run at Augusta National. The 2023 Masters champion had a horrid first round, which made it extremely difficult for him to recover. Despite the challenges, he still managed to get a T14 finish in the Green Jacket event. But when it comes to LIV Golf, Rahmbo is one of the top 3 golfers in the league. He hasn’t won anything, but also managed to finish in the top 9 of every event. However, the Spaniard might want to change that and finally grab a win this season. The Player of the Year 2024, Jon Rahm, will definitely be coming in hot for the win in LIV Golf Mexico City 2025.
