Get ready to stay hooked to your television sets or portable devices from April 24-27, 2025. After the grueling tests in the past couple of months, the LPGA Tour stars have finally reached the stage where they will give their best. That includes Nelly Korda, who has been struggling to get back to her winning ways after an outstanding 2024. As mentioned, she is a part of the morning pairings.
The morning half of the round is set to begin at 7:15 A.M local time or 8:15 A.M. (EST). Two groups will tee off together, one from the first hole and the second from the tenth hole. Every group thereafter will tee off 11 minutes after the previous pairing. This will go on till 10:05 A.M. (EST). Jeeno Thitikul and her group are scheduled to tee off at 9:10 A.M. (EST) from hole 1. Nelly Korda and Charley Hull will begin their tournaments at the same time, albeit from different holes. Korda & Co. will start on hole 1, and Hull’s group will begin on hole 10 at 9:32 A.M. (EST).
The second half of the first round will begin at 1:15 P.M. (EST). The last group to tee off for the day will be on the fairway at 3:05 P.M. (EST). Just like the morning group, the afternoon tee times will also have an 11-minute gap between them. Lydia Ko’s Group 36 is scheduled for a 2:21 P.M. tee time, and Group 38 featuring partially retired Lexi Thompson will tee off at 2:32 P.M.

Can Nelly Korda overcome her slump and defend her Chevron title against a fierce Lydia Ko?
Have an interesting take?
Now that you know the tee times, let’s predict what we can expect to see in the 2025 Chevron Championship.
Who can win the 2025 Chevron Championship?
Despite her bad run of form, Nelly Korda is undoubtedly the favorite to retain her title. She has been pushing for a win all year long. Moreover, Korda is known for showing up on the big stages. For the rest of the field in Texas, she is also the biggest threat to their hopes of winning the major. But for Korda, the biggest threat would come from her rival, Lydia Ko. Unlike the world No. 1, Ko has already won a title this year. Her win at the 2025 HSBC Women’s World Championship in Singapore was only one of the great performances she has had this season. The New Zealander also had two other 6th-place finishes in the five tournaments she has played so far.

Apart from Ko, Jeeno Thitikul has also been on a winning run recently. She ended 2024 with an outstanding win in the CME Group Tour Championship. In the Ladies European Tour, Thitikul also won a victory at the PIF Saudi Ladies International earlier this year. The Thai national will be eager to bag her 5 LPGA Tour titles and her first major this week.
