Will Nico Echavarria's winning streak continue, or will Lower and Young finally claim their first victory?

The 2024 season was a testament to proving that good weather and the PGA Tour events do not go hand in hand. Either the rounds are suspended like the Cognizant Classic or the event may get shortened to 54 holes as it happened at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am. And these are not the only two events where the weather created a ruckus. Even at the 2024 WWT Championship at El Cardonal, the first round had to be suspended due to darkness.

Well, it did continue on the second day, and fortunately, the second and third rounds progressed without any hindrance. Will the same fate be followed in the final round at the Tiger Woods-designed El Cardonal at Diamante? Luckily, the field of the WWT Championship doesn’t have any to worry about. Per the AccuWeather predictions, the day will be pretty sunny.

And the clouds that halted the opening round will not be there at all, as cloud cover would be zero. The temperature, on the other hand, would go as high as 77°F in the morning, and by the evening it would be around 68°F. You are wondering about rain? Well, no threat there at all because a 1% chance of precipitation has been forecasted. The wind would be blowing from SE at 2 mph in the morning and SSE at 5 mph in the evening.

Overall, the weather will be a trouble at the World Wide Technology Championship. Unless the weather decides to pull a surprise on the PGA Tour. So, if you are at the El Cardonal, there is no need to carry any rain gear, but if you couldn’t be there to watch it live, there is still a way to catch the World Wide Technology Championship action.

The final of the 2024 WWT Championship shouldn’t be missed

After three rounds, it is a hot battle between three pros, Nico Echavarria, Justin Lower, and Carson Young. The last two have still not opened their winning accounts on the PGA Tour, but Echavarria has already won two events; the latest one was the 2024 ZOZO Championship.

Have an interesting take?

So, he probably is in great form, but the other two tied for first with the Colombian pro aren’t going to let him take away the trophy and the $1.296 million winner’s payout from the $7.2 million total prize purse that easily. It will surely turn dramatic at the El Cardonal, and to watch it all, you will have to tune in to the Golf Channel as always between 2:00 and 5:00 p.m. ET.

The other way to get the World Wide Technology Championship update is through the PGA Tour Radio show on SiriusXM, or you can go on to PGATOUR.COM/liveaudio and hear all about it from noon to 5:00 p.m. ET.
