After consecutive tumultuous rounds at the 2024 Shriners Children’s Open, the final day is here! Thirty-six of the sixty-six players have already teed off in the penultimate round, and the other thirty are still left to do so. The third round will be completed on Sunday, starting at 8:00 am ahead of the final round. Why? well, because the round was suspended because of darkness.
Currently, JT Poston and Doug Ghim are in the lead, with 15-under. They are yet to complete their Saturday play. Kurt Kitayama and Gary Woodland are T3 with Harris English and Alejandro Tosti after scoring 65 on Saturday. But the question is, for what are these golfers competing? Prize money, of course!
The PGA Tour Pro who clinches the win at the TPC Summerlin in a few hours, will take home the maximum portion from the $7 million prize money. The victor will get a standard 18% of the share, making it a whopping $1.26 million. The runner-up and the second runner-up will take home $764,000 and $483,000, respectively.
