Following last week’s Black Mountain Championship, the International Series Thailand kicks off at Thai Country Club in Bangkok. This marks the sixth elevated event on the Asian Tour. The event kick-started on October 24 and concludes in just a few hours, as the players finish teeing off the last 18 holes.
Currently, LIV Golf’s Peter Uihlein has taken the lead, having completed sixteen holes, going completely bogey-free through them. He is still left to putt on the last two holes and is at a 21-under. Richard T. Lee, on the other hand, has completed his final round and is one stroke away from the LIV Golf star. But the question is, if Uihlein manages to grab the win, what will he take home?
How much money will Peter Uihlein take home if he wins the 2024 International Series Thailand?
Just like the rest of the five events that have already concluded this year, the 2024 International Series Thailand boasts a purse of $2 million. According to Golf Monthly, if Peter Uihlein wins the trophy as the final round concludes, he stands to gain the most as he could accrue the largest amount of share from the total payout, which is $360,000. On the other hand, the runner-up and the second runner-up will take home $220,000 and $126,000, respectively.
After the Friday round, only 68 out of the 150 players in the field of the event made the cut and qualified for the weekend rounds. All the players having made the cut will get some portion of the share, with the player ranked at the bottom of the leaderboard getting the smallest portion of it. Whoever lands in the 68th position will take home only $4,800. Here is what the final payout looks like at the 2024 International Series Thailand.

Added perks of winning the 2024 International Series Thailand
Apart from the trophy and the prize money payout, the players will also have a chance to bag an offer to play in the LIV Golf 2025 season. Since the inception of the Breakaway League, several top players have been granted a massive payout, signing a contract to play for the league. And well, not to forget the $4 million purse events throughout the year.
The winner of the 2024 International series, will be given a contract to play for LIV Golf after the last of its 10 tournaments. Additionally, players finishing in the top 8 will get an exemption into the second round of the breakaway league’s promotions event, which grants contracts to the top three players on the tournament leaderboard. Which players do you think will be able to grab the exemption? Stay tuned to find out in a few hours!
