However, this year might be a little tougher for the golfer since he will have to compete against World No.14 Tom Kim and World No.15 Jordan Spieth. Kim recently tied for fifth at the Plantation Course at Kapalua, making himself the highlight of this tournament as well.

Although former world no. 1 Spieth might not have been in the headlines recently, his memorable win at last year’s RBC Heritage was proof to show that he has still got what it takes to win tournaments. Total purse, winner’s share, and prize money for the tournament

The total purse for the tournament is set to be $7.9 million, while the winner will receive $1.422 million as his share. The tournament is being held at the Waialae Country Club, Hawaii. The club was established back in 1927 and has served as host to numerous Hawaiian Opens ever since.
